This flow switch features an internal reed switch with small contacts, which are not designed to drive electrical loads directly. It should only be used as a signal output device. If you plan to control contactors, motors, solenoid valves, water pumps, or alarms, an intermediate relay is required. Direct connection to a load will damage the switch.
