Antenna introduction :

This antenna is composed of a 1:64 impedance converter and 20 or 40.7 meters (adjusted by an antenna analyzer to adjust the length of the oscillator). lt is a 4 band and 8 band shortwave single ended feeding antenna.belonging to multi band and multi-directional antennas, Due to its single ended feeding, it is easy, simple, and fast to install, and its invisibility is not easily detected. lt is particularly suitable for urban installation, outdoor installation, etc.

Installation requirements :

Due to its multidirectional nature, when installing the antenna, only open and open areas need to be selected without considering its directionality issues. Non metallic ropes must be used at both ends of the antenna, and metal wire ropes cannot be used, otherwise it will affect the parameters of the antenna. Within the full length range of the antenna, it must be at least 3 meters away from obstacles (including walls, trees, leaves and non-metallic materials).lf encountering metal objects (such as wires, windows, railings,etc.), it must be at least 5 meters away to achievethe ideal state. lt is best to stand higher and higher,and can be pulled horizontally, vertically,or diagonally.

Regarding the issue of ground grid:

End fed antennas generally do not require the use of a ground network when using SSBs, For example, when using FT8, FT4, and other data connections that cause interference to other devices, an external ground network can be used.Specifically,a 1-2 meter single stranded wire is connected to the network cable of the converter connector to allow it to naturally sag without the need for grounding.However, installing a grounding grid will cause displacement of each resonant point which needs to be corrected by adjusting the length of the oscillator with an antenna analyzer, lf necessary, the length of the grounding grid should be shortenec to reduce the problem of resonant point displacement and achieve a win-win situation.
