JF-31 Noise Gate guitar effect pedal is used for cutting out the noise that is produced from other pedals and amps. It works great for cutting noise that would normally ring through in between notes or chords.

It's small, built well, and easy to use. The threshold control allows you to set the volume at which the gate starts the noise reduction.
