▲ The Seekcom S1 supports host/guest switching, but only one device can be set as the host and network node in an intercom system group. All other devices must be set as guests (factory default setting). If you need to reset the host/guest settings, the devices should be re-paired.

A: There are USB-C port and 3.5mmTRS/TRRS port on headsets that can be used for audio input / output.

Q: Do the headsets support sub-grouping?

A: Do not support; all headsets are in one group by default.

Q: What devices might interfere with the headsets?

A: The working frequency band of headset is 2401~2483MHz. Therefore, the devices in 2.4G frequency band may interfere with the headsets, such as WIFI, Bluetooth, 2.4G video transmission, etc.

Q: What’s the function of recorder mode?

A: It allows users to monitor the recording state by connecting the headset with a recording device, while avoiding the discomfort of wearing two headsets.

Q: What are recorder mode and ducking mode? How to use?

A: The recorder mode is designed for audio recording. Users can activate ducking function after turning on recorder mode. Ducking function can reduce the volume of background music or other sound sources in real time, ensuring that vocal instructions remain clear and uninterrupted. It should be turned on through the Comica Audio APP.

Q: How many headsets can be used simultaneously at most?

A: It supports 5 headsets at most (including the host). Two sets of devices (10 headsets) can be enlarged to 8 people to use in sync via the cascade extension. The two cascaded headsets act as signal repeater station and cannot be used to listen or talk.

Q: What are the precautions when using the headset?

A: Keep the microphone capsule 2-3 cm away from your mouth instead of direct front position;

Avoid covering the antenna with your hand, it may cause signal interference.

Q: What is the purpose of broadcasting function or PTT mode?

A: Broadcasting: when the host turns on overall broadcasting function, all connected guests enter muting state. It helps the host to issue instructions directly in emergency situations.
PTT: only necessary sounds will be sent during communication, avoiding unnecessary sound pickup, such as noise; it can extend the usage time with high efficiency.
