USE TIPS OF DESICCANT INDICATING SILICA GEL BEADSFor better results, use desiccant in a confined space. Each 50 grams of silica gel will use up to 30 liters (1 cubic foot) of confined space, more silica gel should be used in spaces with excessive humidity. When the silica gel turns a dark green colour (more than 35% heavier), fill according to the instructions.
To reactivate silica gel drying beads: Reactivate silica gel by placing the silica gel drying beads in a 200 to 250℉ oven for 0.5 to 2 hours or microwave in defrost mode for 7 to 12 minutes, do not exceed 250℉ oven temperature. Reactivation heating times will vary depending on the saturation of the beads. Please check the colour of the silica gel periodically. Remove beads when their colour returns to orange. After charging, the silicone will be very hot, do not touch by bare hands.
The moisture absorbing effect of the color changing silica gel desiccant will slowly decrease after it is baked back, normally the colour changing silica gel can be used for about 3-5 times.
