The hook's rounded part is wide, which means they can hold a lot, up to100lbs. Perfect for hanging heavy objects like ironing-boards, stepladders, heavy robes, wet pool sized towels and so on.
You can use two or more spaced apart to dry damp objects, such as damp towels, wet swimsuits, etc. You can even hang them on upside down on some cylindrical objects, such as the tool cart's cylindrical handrail. The hooks can replace the hooks without rubber coating on a door organizer, please measure the holes diameters in the hanging organizer to ensure correct fit.
The hook is whole chrome plated and most area rubber coated, if you do not like the coating, you can cut off the rubber coating with scissors.
If the door thickness is the same as the opening of the hook, the hook's top will not tilt, the hook needs about 2mm gap between the door and the frame to close the door.
If the door's thickness smaller than the hook's opening, you can squeeze the metal prongs to get a tighter fit. If the door is thinner, you may see a tilt at the top of the hook, this means you will need a larger gap between the door and the frame if the door is to close with the hook attached.
