Why is the resin received not clear enough, Look cloudy?
Don't worry! You can use it with confidence!
This is usually caused by the outside temperature is too low, you just need to put the bottle in hot water above 80°C (176°F) for 10 minutes, and it will regain full clarity.
Why the resin does not cure well?
1.A:B must in the ratio of 1:1 by volume! 2.Must fully mixed and stirred.
3.Pouring, not scrape the bottom and wall of the cup.
4.The mould no foreign matter.
5.Place in a low humidity environment, 25°c(77℉) is good.
6.Not too thick in one operation.
How can the formation of bubbles be reduced?
1.Stirring slowly can help.
2.Avoid pouring too thickly one time (large area ≤ 0.6″, small area ≤ 1.2″), and ensure the curing environment temperature is not too high.
3.Keep the silicone mould clean.
4.Avoid using irregularly shaped moulds.
Why does the curing process take so long?
For epoxy resin,the cure time is related to temperature. The lower the temperature, the longer the curing time. The thinner the pour, the longer the curing time.
The recommended temperature for curing epoxy is around 25°C.
