A suggestion for installation
1. Locate the place you would like to install the locks. Install one side, insert the other side of the locking plate into the installed plate with screws protruding out.
2. Place some cardboard or folded paper behind the screw head to ensure screw is pointed straight out and held in place.
3. Use some chalk or water clean-up marker and mark the tip of the screw.
4. Push the two pieces of couch together at the exact angle and location they will be in after locked together.
5. The protruding screw will mark the exact location on the non-installed side of the furniture.
