This may occur with low-power adapters (e.g., <10W) or non-standard cables, causing "false charging." Reinserting the battery recalibrates the voltage reading. Always use recommended accessories.
Why does the displayed charging power fluctuate, and why does the power seem to decrease as the battery gets fuller?
Below 80% capacity, devices use maximum safe power for rapid charging (higher stable wattage). Above ~80% capacity, they keep voltage constant but gradually reduce current to protect the battery, causing the displayed wattage/power to drop.
Why does charging from 99% to 100% feel so slow?
When nearing full capacity, charging switches to a very low "trickle" current to prevent overcharging, overheating, and extend battery life. This slow charging phase can account for up to 20% of the total charging time.
Is the battery compatible with Sony FX3 firmware version 4.0?
Please note: Currently Not available for Sony FX3 frmware version 4.0 and Sony FX30 frmware version 3.0.
