This is a Focusing MPPT controller (high-efficiency PWM upgrade), NOT a step-down (Buck) MPPT transformer. It cannot step down high voltage (e.g., 70V) to charge a low voltage battery (e.g., 12V). You MUST match the solar panel voltage to your battery voltage.

Step 1: Connect the BATTERY First 🔋

Connect your battery to the controller FIRST.

• Note: The screen will light up. If not, check if your battery has enough voltage (12V battery needs >10V to start).

  
  

Step 2: Connect the SOLAR PANEL Second ☀️

Connect the PV array to the controller. The charging indicator will flash if there is sunlight.

Step 3: Connect the LOAD (Optional) 💡

Connect your DC load (lamps, etc.) to the output port.

💡 Tip: We recommend adding an air switch (Circuit Breaker) between the controller and the battery for double safety.

❓ Troubleshooting FAQ

Q: The controller screen does not turn on?

A: Please check the battery wiring. The battery must have a minimum voltage to activate the controller (12V system needs >10V, 24V needs >20V).

Q: Why is the solar panel not charging?

A: Check if the PV cables are reversed or loose. Ensure the panel voltage is within the correct range for your battery.

Q: My load light is flashing?

A: Slow flashing means overload (reduce load power). Fast flashing means short circuit protection (remove short circuit).
