Overview
3DM2283 is a high-resolution stepping motor driver designed by Raytheon Company with precision current control technology. It is suitable for driving three-phase hybrid stepping motor of various brands of 86-150. Due to the advanced anti-noise control method, the noise and vibration of the motor can be greatly reduced, so that the noise and smoothness of the stepping motor are close to the level of the servo motor. Stepper motors and drives have a 15-30% reduction in heat generation compared to most other subdivision drivers on the market.
Application
Suitable for a variety of large and medium-sized automation equipment and instruments, such as: engraving machine, labeling machine, cutting machine, laser phototypesetting, plotter, CNC machine tool, pick and place device. Control signal interface description

PUL+(+5V) | Pulse control signal: pulse rising edge is valid; PUL-high 4-5V, low level 0-0.5V. In order to respond reliably to pulse signals, the pulse width should be greater than 1.2 μs. If +12V or +24V is used, string resistance is required. |
DIR+(+5V) | Direction signal: high/low level signal, in order to ensure reliable commutation of the motor, the direction signal should be established before the pulse signal is at least 5μs. The initial running direction of the motor is related to the wiring of the motor. Any two wires connecting the three-phase windings U, V, W can change the direction of the initial running of the motor. DIR-high level is 4-5V, low level is 0-0.5V. . |
ENA+(+5V) | Enable signal: This input signal is used to enable or disable. When ENA+ is connected to +5V and ENA- is connected to low level (or internal optocoupler is on), the driver will cut off the current of each phase of the motor to make the motor free, and the step pulse will not be responded. When this function is not needed, the enable signal is left floating. |
FAULT+ | Fault signal OC output: low level fault, high level is normal, it is recommended to use 1K pull-up resistor to connect external +5V. Note: The FAULT+/FAULT- terminal is not shared with the power GND. |
