Precautions for Use
1、Avoid direct heating with gasoline, acetylene, or alcohol torches to prevent uneven heating and cracking.
2、Control heating/cooling rates:
Below 1200 °C: <5 °C/min
Above 1200 °C: <4 °C/min
Use controlled cooling; rapid cooling may cause cracks.
3、Keep >5 cm from heating elements; not for use with carbon or iron burning.
4、For large crucibles, avoid direct contact with furnace floor—use heat-resistant supports to allow airflow and extend service life.

Q1: Can I heat it directly with a gas torch?
A1: No. Direct heating with gasoline torch, acetylene torch, or alcohol lamp may cause thermal shock and cracking.
Q2: How fast can I heat or cool the crucible?
A2: Below 1200 °C, ≤5 °C/min; above 1200 °C, ≤4 °C/min to avoid cracking.
Q3: Can it be placed directly on the furnace bottom?
A3: For large crucibles, avoid direct contact; use alumina pads to allow airflow and prolong service life.
