Features of Dry Contact Relay Switch
1. No Polarity Requirement
- Bidirectional conduction: Dry contacts are passive and do not carry voltage or current by themselves, allowing bidirectional current flow (AC or DC).
2. Electrical Isolation
- Safe isolation: Complete galvanic isolation between the relay coil (control side) and contacts (load side), preventing interference or voltage leakage.
3. High compatibility: Can be used in different voltage/current circuits as long as the contact ratings are met.
4. Passive Design
- No built-in power: Dry contacts do not supply power; they only switch externally provided current (unlike "wet contacts," which include a power source).
