III.Description
SmallRig Cage with Airtag Slot for Sony Alpha 7R V / 7 IV / 7S III / 1 / 7R IV 5583 offers snug protection, versatile mounting options, and a built-in AirTag slot for camera tracking. It attaches securely using a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and a side locating block, allowing for anti-deflection fixation without removing the camera’s eyelet triangles. The integrated AirTag slot facilitates seamless camera tracking for secure operation. Additionally, a hinged door at the battery compartment enhances grip by providing extra support for the little finger.
The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a “HawkLock” NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories such as side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount accommodates devices like the DJI Mic 2 or lights, while a QD socket at the base allows for shoulder strap attachment. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly.
The bottom quick release plate, paired with the “HawkLock” H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID 4486), enables rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate allows for seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro).

Precautions:
1.This cage is compatible with the HDMI cable clamps included in cage kits (ID 4538, 4539, 3668C, 3669D) but is not compatible with the HDMI cable clamps from cage kits (ID 3668B, 3669C).
2.The cage can be attached directly to the camera without the need to remove the eyelet triangles.
