【Instrument Measurement Instructions】:
ORP is generally used to control chlorine dosing. Oxidation-reduction potential difference (ORP) can reflect the oxidative capacity, chlorine can be used to control the oxidative capacity, on the contrary, ORP can be used to reflect the amount of residual chlorine. A Suitable ORP value for swimming pool water is 740mV.
Remarks: The pH of the swimming pool should be between 6.5-8 and the ORP should be between 487-840. The residual chlorine value will be displayed normally. If any of these two values are not within the range, it will not be displayed normally.If the PH value is lower than 6.5, it means that the water quality is more acidic and impurities need to be disinfected with disinfectant water. If the ORP value is above 850, it means that the disinfectant solution is too much to add water or change the water for neutralization.
