This is a complete PCIe 4.0 x16 to dual SFF-8654 8i expansion kit. The kit includes 1 PCIe x16 host adapter card, 2 SFF-8654 to PCIe x16 base boards, and 2 SlimSAS SFF-8654 8i 75cm cables.

It is designed to extend one motherboard PCIe x16 slot to two PCIe x16 base boards through SFF-8654 high-speed cables. It is suitable for GPU, network card, U.2 SSD adapter, NVMe expansion card, capture card, RAID card, and other PCIe devices.

This kit is suitable for servers, workstations, open-frame PC builds, GPU testing platforms, industrial computers, and custom PCIe expansion systems.

Important Notes Before Purchase

  1. This product is not a simple plug-and-play GPU riser cable. It is a PCIe expansion and bifurcation kit.

  2. If you want to use two PCIe devices at the same time, your motherboard, CPU, and BIOS must support PCIe bifurcation.

  3. Common supported BIOS modes may include x8+x8 or x4+x4+x4+x4.

  4. If your motherboard does not support PCIe bifurcation, only one device may be recognized, or the system may not recognize multiple devices correctly.

  5. Actual speed depends on the lowest standard among motherboard, CPU, PCIe slot, BIOS settings, adapter card, cable, base board, and connected PCIe device.

  6. If one part of the system only supports PCIe 3.0, the whole connection may run at PCIe 3.0 speed.

  7. Graphics cards still need their own external power cable if required. This kit does not replace GPU power cables.
