Precision Ovulation Detector for Cattle, Sheep & Horses Boost Conception Rates and Improve Breeding Efficiency Fertility Tester
Precision Ovulation Detector for Cattle, Sheep & Horses Boost Conception Rates and Improve Breeding Efficiency Fertility TesterHow to operate
1. Cleaning: Wet a towel with dish soap, wash, and then rinse. No need to dry before use.
2. After restraining the animal and cleaning its vulva, insert the probe into the reproductive tract until it can no longer be inserted.
3. Insert, hold still, rotate twice, press the switch on the handle, and read the value.
4. Three "--" lines will appear on the display screen. The first value will flash for 3 seconds, the second value will appear after a 3-second interval, and the third value will appear after another 3-second interval. Take the two closest values as references and the reading will end. The instrument will automatically shut down after 10 seconds.
5. Clean and store after use.
Things to note
1. Be sure to clean the area thoroughly with dish soap before and after testing.
2. Inflammation of the reproductive system can cause abnormal secretions and affect test data.
3. After cleaning the reproductive system, residual medication may affect test results. It is not recommended to test on the same day after cleaning.
4. During the testing process, the animal should remain calm; large movements of the body can cause data deviation.
Early estrus: below 200
Mid-estrus: 200-250
Mating period: 250-310
Not in heat: 320-600
General inflammation: 600-1000
Uterine diseases: 1000-1999
Remark:
① Data below 200 must wait for the data to rise.
② If the data range is 200-250, it is recommended to continue monitoring, or to use ovulation induction injections and insemination immediately.
③ The recommended maximum value for mating is 310.
④ If a cow in obvious estrus tests positive for a value exceeding 310, consider whether the cleaning was adequate or if the discharge is inflamed.
⑤ A display of 10 indicates that the number has exceeded 2000, which is off the charts.
Horses not in heat have a statistic above 360. When they enter estrus, the statistic begins to drop, and can drop as low as around 320. When the statistic rises back to around 350, they can be bred for the first time, and then bred a second time after an interval of 6-8 hours.
When a donkey is not in heat, its estrus value is below 500. When it enters the estrus period, the value begins to rise, reaching a maximum of around 1500. When the value begins to drop to 600-800, the first mating can be done, and the second mating can be done 6-8 hours later.
Not in heat: 400 or above
Early estrus: around 200
Mid-estrus: 300-400
Mating period: 400-600 (mating can be done directly if the animal shows signs of standing still).
Mild inflammation: 600-1000
Uterine diseases: 1000-1999
Remark:
① If the static performance test result is higher than 400, breed directly.
② If there is no abnormal mucus in the static standing test (600-800), it can be directly bred.
③ If the physical appearance test score is below 400, and the score is above 400 after half a day, then mating is possible.
④ If the appearance does not show signs of being above 400, and the test shows that the value continues to rise by more than 50 after half a day, then mating is possible.
⑤ A display of 10 indicates that the number has exceeded 2000, which is off the charts.
No estrus: >600 (stops at a certain value, the same as the data for estrus has passed.)
Early estrus:
600-300 (continuously declining)
Mid-estrus:
300-550 (continuously rising)
Breeding period:
550-600 (continuously rising)
General inflammation: 800-1000 (abnormal discharge indicates general inflammation)
Uterine inflammation: 1000-1999(10) (mostly uterine diseases)
Remark:
① If the test result is continuously higher than 550 and keeps rising, then mating is possible.
②Most sheep are in estrus at the same time and inflammation is common.
