Tools Prepare: Oil filter wrench, a drain pan, and some rags or paper towels.

Tips:

1. Locate the Oil Filter: The oil filter is typically located on the engine block. It may be accessed from underneath the vehicle or from the top

2. Remove the Old Filter: Using an oil filter wrench or removal tool, carefully loosen and unscrew the old oil filter in a counterclockwise direction. Once the filter is loose, carefully unscrew it by hand. Continue turning it counterclockwise until it comes off completely.

Prep the New Filter: Before installing the new filter, apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the rubber gasket on the top of the filter. This helps create a proper seal and makes it easier to remove the filter during the next oil change.

Install the New Filter: Screw the new oil filter onto the filter housing by hand. Once the gasket makes contact with the housing, turn it an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn to secure it (Not recommend over tighten the oil filter)
