LibreCAL is an electronic calibration component that comes with LibreVNA
Being able to directly call and quickly complete calibration in LibreVNA GUI, eliminating the tedious manual operation of using mechanical calibration components.
LibreCAL is an open-source hardware, and we have released all the production files. You can also create it yourself, but professional metrological calibration parts and VNA are required for calibration. The LibreCAL we sell has been calibrated using metrological grade calibration components. After calibration, the S11 directionality is better than 50dB within 3GHz and better than 40dB above 3GHz. This is better than some mechanical calibration components that cannot provide calibration parameters, but it should be noted that even after strict calibration. Due to internal leakage of electronic calibration components, isolation calibration cannot be performed.
