The LakiBeam series product is a typical laser radar designed based on the principle of pulsed time of flight (pToF, pulsed Time of Flight). The product is internally composed of a laser, a photodetector, an optical system, and a timer. The core principle of its distance measurement is to emit a beam of pulsed laser light through the laser and start the timer. When the laser light hits the target surface, it will reflect diffusely and return to the photodetector. After the photodetector receives the signal, the timer will be stopped. At this time, we have obtained the time difference between the laser receiving and emitting moment, which is the time of flight of light. The flight distance of light is obtained by multiplying the speed of light by the flight time of light, so as to calculate the distance from the device to the measurement target.

This product uses a semiconductor laser and a continuously rotating high-speed scanning mirror to realize the scanning measurement of the environmental profile within the range of 270 degrees on the same horizontal plane. The laser adopts the 940nm wave band invisible to the human eye and meets the Class 1 level stipulated in the IEC60825-1 standard to ensure the safety of human eyes when the product is working. The high-quality motor and lightweight scanning mirror design can ensure that the product can work stably for a long time and create maximum value for users.

This product provides 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet connection function, DC power supply supports ultra-wide voltage range of 9-28V, and provides a USB2.0 Type-C interface (supports USB Type-A to USB Type- C and USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable connection), and can directly provide power and establish a data connection for this product through the USB Type-C interface. The USB data interface of this product strictly follows the operating system standard, supports RNDIS (Windows/Linux), CDC-ECM (Mac OSX), and can be plug-and-play without driver.

The built-in web server of the product provides a user-friendly dashboard (dashboard) function. Users can use mobile phones or computers to easily access the dashboard of the device through a web browser. Through the dashboard, the operating status of the device can be detected, and working parameters can be set. Configure functions such as network information, and easily update device firmware for more functions.
