Module description

KW-BPVCCS1000 is compatible with ±5V~±30V (dual power supply) and +5V~+30V (single power supply) power supply, with reverse power supply protection and output current display. The output current can be adjusted with the knob or the external input voltage can be controlled. The input 1V corresponds to the output 0.2A. AC current can be output. It is suitable for laser, LED constant current drive and sensor excitation control, etc.

Precautions for the use of modules

(1) The power consumption of the module is large, and the power supply needs to have a certain margin. It is recommended to use a power supply with a current driving capacity that is more than 1.5 times the required output current.

(2) In order to avoid unnecessary interference, it is recommended to use a linear power supply for power supply, and an electrolytic capacitor above 50V/470uF can be connected in parallel at the input end, and the power supply cannot exceed plus or minus 30V

(3) It is recommended to use a good wire for the output signal to observe the effect. Poor contact or poor quality wire may cause signal attenuation or excessive noise.

(4) It is recommended to use low-resistance wires for power output, otherwise it may cause excessive line loss and unstable power output.

(5) Due to the large power consumption and heat generation, please pay attention to ventilation and heat dissipation or increase active heat dissipation when working with high power for a long time.

(6) The module is a constant current source, it is recommended to confirm the output power and amplitude before loading to avoid damage to the module or load.

Q: How to connect the module with single power supply and dual power supply?

A: When a single power supply is used, V- does not need to be connected, V+ is connected to the positive power supply, and GND is connected to the negative power supply; when the dual power supply is used, V+, V-, and GND are respectively connected to the positive, negative, and ground of the power supply.

Q: What does module tube consumption mean? What is the function?

A: The tube consumption of the module refers to the input power minus the output power. The tube consumption must be controlled within 55W, otherwise the module may be damaged.Tube consumption=supply voltage×output current-load resistance×output current2=Vpower×Iout-RL×Iout2; the formula can be used to calculate the minimum load.

Q: What is the minimum load that the module can drive?

A: The minimum load value is related to several factors, which can be calculated with reference to the above formula; for example: when the supply voltage is ±30V and the output current is 1A, (60×1-RL×12≤55W), the load needs to be controlled at 5Ω. and above.

Q: Can the module directly drive the coil?

A: The module can drive the coil, but the tube consumption of the module is required to be controlled within 55W. If it does not meet the recommendation, a power resistor can be connected in series, otherwise the module may be damaged.

Q: Can the module input square wave or pulse?

A: The module can input square wave or pulse, but the frequency must be within the module bandwidth, and the module is compatible with DC input.

Q: Why is the input sine wave output a square wave?

A: Maybe the load resistance is too large, or the power supply voltage is not enough. The load can be reduced and the supply voltage can be increased.

Q: Can it output AC constant current?
