Module description

The LMX2571 is a low-power, high-performance, wideband PLLatinum radio frequency (RF) synthesizer that integrates a fractional N PLL, multi-core voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), programmable output voltage divider, and two output buffers . The operating frequency of the VCO core is up to 5.376GHz, and the continuous output frequency range is 10MHz to 1344MHz.

LMX2571 supports direct digital FSK modulation through programming or corresponding pins. The device supports discrete level FSK, pulse shaping FSK, and analog FM modulation.

Precautions for using the module

(1) Since the module is a high-precision device, in order to avoid unnecessary interference, it is recommended to use a linear power supply.

(2) Correct power supply, reverse connection is prohibited, and the voltage should not exceed 5.5V.

(3) It is recommended to use a good patch cord to connect the instrument to observe the output signal; poor contact or poor quality wires may cause signal attenuation or excessive noise.

(4) If you need to simply test the function of the module, it is recommended to use it with our store's control board. Power is supplied to the phase-locked loop module first, and then the control board is powered to generate a waveform. Long press the middle button to switch the function. The functions include point frequency and frequency sweep.

(5) The distributed code is only used for the supporting main control board; no single chip tutorial is provided; additional functions need to be developed by themselves.

(6) The phase noise, harmonics, power output and other corresponding indicators of the phase-locked loop module. The details have typical test parameters. The specific parameters are subject to the actual test parameters.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What waveform does the LMX2571 output? Can it be modulated?

A: LMX2571 is a digital phase-locked loop. The output is divided by frequency, and the output waveform is similar to a square wave. If a sine wave is required, an external filter is required. The module supports FM and FSK modulation, the specific functions need to be developed by the buyer.

Q: How to switch the external clock, can the module store data?

A: To switch to an external clock, you need to connect the jumper cap on the board to the other end. The module cannot store configuration data when it is powered off. You need to re-import the control every time you power on.

Q: Can the module realize FM wireless transceiver function? Does it support analog audio input?

A: The module can realize the FM transceiver function, and the buyer needs to program it by himself. The module does not support analog audio input and can only input audio data in IIS format to achieve FM modulated transmission.

Q: What are the two lights on the board for PLL module? Does not light up after importing the program?

A: One is the power indication, the other is the lock indication, and both lights are on for normal operation.
