Module description
This module is a high current output: 3A (TPS5430) or 5A (TPS5450); Wide voltage input range: 5.5-36V power module. Various voltage outputs (3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 24V) are configured on board by default, and can be converted to corresponding voltage output only by welding the corresponding jump point. The optimal theoretical conversion rate can reach 95%. Wide voltage output range: fixed 500kHz conversion rate, over-current protection and thermal break function, switch enable pin, off state only 18uA. The module layout is regular, and the wiring is arranged in strict accordance with the design specifications of the power circuit. The material is generous, the ripple is small, and the power output is convenient and practical. It is suitable for student competition module and individual project development.


Precautions for module use
(1) The module is a step-down module, and the input voltage needs to be more than 2V to output stably.
(2) The module heating is mainly determined by the input and output voltage difference and the load current. Please select and use the power module reasonably, and generally reserve a certain margin.
(3) The detailed description of our baby is mainly for 5V output models, especially when using high-power 10W (output 5V2A, output 15V/O.67A) or more, please add heat dissipating silicone fins to cool the chip. With better heat dissipation conditions, it is better to control it within 30W (output 15V, 2A) for a long time to avoid damaging the chip.
FAQ
Q: Why can't the maximum output of the module reach the nominal value when I use it?
A: To achieve high output power, the input power of the module must be greater than the output power.
Q: My input voltage is normal. Why can't the module output normally?
A: Switching power supply modules are all limited by starting current. The input power supply needs to have a current instantaneous output capacity greater than 300mA to start the module.
Q: The 12V output selected by the trip point, the module power supply 13V, the output 11V?
A: The module is a step-down module, and the input voltage needs to be more than 2V to output stably.
