The AD7190 is a low noise complete analog front end suitable for high precision measurement applications. It integrates a low noise,24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). On-chip programmable low-noise amplifier can adjust the signal to 1, 8,16, 32, 64, 128 times magnification, which means that small signals can be directly input for measurement.The device can be configured as two differential inputs or four pseudo differential inputs. On-chip channel sequencer can enable multipleChannels, the AD7190 performs conversions on each enabled channel in sequence, which simplifies communication with the device. sheetThe internal 4.92 MHz clock can be used as the clock source for the ADC; alternatively, an external clock or crystal oscillator can also be used. TheThe output data rate of the device can be varied from 4.7Hz to 4.8kHz through register configuration.

Precautions for using the module
(1) The module is a low-power module, and the power supply does not exceed 6V.(2) Since the module is a high-precision device, in order to avoid unnecessary interference, it is recommended to use a linear power supply.(3) It is recommended that the output signal line be as short as possible. If it is too long, noise signals may be easily introduced. Poor contact or poor quality wires may cause signal attenuation or excessive noise.(4) The delivered code is only used for the supporting main control board. No single-chip microcomputer tutorial is provided. Functions other than product details display need to be developed by yourself.(5) If you need to simply test the function of the module, it is recommended to use it with the control board of our store. After the correct wiring is completed, the control board can be powered to realize the signal acquisition display.
Frequently asked questions
Q: The AD7190 module is connected to a load cell. What is the range of weight that can be weighed? What is the accuracy?
A: The range that can be weighed is determined by the pressure sensor itself. Generally speaking, the accuracy of a sensor with a large range will be lower.
Q: Can AD7190 directly transfer data to PLC?
A: Generally speaking, the PLC level is not compatible with the AD7190 module. Our module is a 3.3V communication level. Generally, a single chip can be used for communication.
Q: Both AD7190 and ADS1256 are 24-bit ADCs, which are the same in many places. What is the difference in use?
A: Generally speaking, AD7190 is more used in load cells or pressure sensors. The true differential between channels and the ADS1256 are pseudo differential. The acquisition speed of ADS1256 is faster than that of AD7190.
Q: If I use the AD7190 and the matching main control board and use the USB port to supply power, I cannot collect a voltage of 5V?
A: Since the voltage of the universal USB port is lower than 5V, the power supply voltage of the AD7190 chip will be less than 5V, so the voltage of 5V cannot be collected. It is recommended to use the DC interface, power supply above 5V, but not more than 5.5V , So that you can collect a 5V voltage.
