The default VGA gain range of our AD8336 module is configured to be 0 to 60dB. At this time, the bandwidth is 25M. If users need other gain ranges and bandwidths, please refer to the table below and the chip manual 20-23 pages.

Module description

The KW_VCA8336 module adopts AD8336 low noise, single-ended, linear dB, general-purpose variable gain amplifier, which can work in a wide supply voltage range. It has a built-in non-dedicated preamp with a usable gain range of 6 dB to 26 dB. The module default VGA gain range is 0 dB to 60 dB. The wide supply voltage range makes the AD8336 suitable for industrial, medical applications and video circuits. Dual-supply operation supports bipolar input signals, such as those generated by photodiodes or photomultiplier tubes. The modules are small in size, easy to install, perform well, and easy to use.

Module usage precautions

(1) The power supply of the module is a dual power supply, and the voltage cannot exceed ±15V.

(2) Since the module is a high-precision device, in order to avoid unnecessary interference, it is recommended to use a linear power supply.

(3) It is recommended to use a good wire for the output signal to input and output the signal, and use an oscilloscope to observe the effect. Poor contact or poor quality wire may cause signal attenuation or excessive noise.
