Module description

KV_ CORS25516 is an ultra-small color recognition module developed by Conway Technology. It can be used for color, color temperature and illumination detection. The working voltage is 5V, the baud rate of serial communication is adjustable, and the on-board dual-color temperature LED light source. Its working principle is that the on-board LED emits light, and the reflected light is detected and recognized by the sensor after it is irradiated on the measured object. The sensor chip used in the module is internally integrated with an IR blocking filter, which can minimize the IR spectral component of the incident light and accurately measure the color. High sensitivity, wide dynamic range and infrared blocking filter make it an ideal color sensor solution for use in various light conditions and through attenuation materials. It can be used in light color temperature measurement, RGB LED consistency control, health and fitness, industrial process control and other fields.

Precautions for module use

(1) Please send the save command after modifying the module parameters.

(2) In order to improve the accuracy and avoid unnecessary interference, please ensure that the power supply is stable.

(3) If the color measurement is not correct, the white balance calibration can be carried out. The specific method is as follows: send the command to turn on the LED on the module board, put the white paper on the top of the sensor so that it can reflect the white light to the sensor, and then send the command "AT+ADJ". After returning to OK, the calibration is completed, and finally send the command "AT+S" to save the parameters.
