Module Description

IV-AMP1615L is a band width transimpedance amplifier with a gain coefficient of 100KV/A and a gain bandwidth greater than 1MHZ. It has the characteristics of high bandwidth and high magnification. The minimum current resolution of the transimpedance amplifier is 10 nA, which is compatible with and adaptable to most high-speed photodiode PDs. The low ripple precision power supply matched with the amplifier ensures the excellent noise performance of the amplifier within 1MHz bandwidth. It is usually used in weak signal detection, pulse light conversion, laser ranging, high-speed photoelectric detection and fluorescent material detection.

Precautions for module use

(1) The power supply of the amplifier is a precision low ripple power supply. The aero plug should ensure stable insertion to ensure normal power supply.

(2) As the amplifier is a high-precision high-speed device, in order to avoid unnecessary interference, it is recommended to use matching wire.

(3) The input signal shall not be over range or over voltage input, and the module has no protection circuit.

(4) Poor contact or poor quality wire may cause signal attenuation or excessive noise.

Frequently asked questions

Q: When the photocell is connected, the output is almost unresponsive after light irradiation?

A: First, confirm how much current the photocell generates under the current light intensity. You can use a multimeter to measure the current of the two pins of the photocell. According to the photocurrent, you can calculate the output voltage. If the input current is too small, the output will almost have no response.

The weak photocurrent is usually very small, so that the multimeter cannot be measured. You can choose to purchase an endothelial ammeter in the shop to measure pA, nA, uA current (search for a picoammeter in the shop or consult customer service)

Q: Is the input current signal and output voltage noisy?

A: First of all, we should use our matching wire for wiring and measurement. The input wire should not be too long or unshielded, which is easy to introduce external noise. The input current line should be as short as possible and shielded.
